Daily API RoundUp: Google Cloud Debugger, Valossa, FoodFacts, Bttn, Proximi, 3D Printler

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. We've added 13 APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Location, and Internet of Things. Highlights today includ the Valossa API which lets users choose a movie by talking aloud in a conversational manner, and the Google Cloud Debugger API. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.

APIs

The GoogleCloud Debugger API allows developers to integrate their apps into the Google Stackdriver Debugger backend.The API provides a Debugger interface and a Controller interface. The Debugger allows users to set and delete the breakpoints at which state data is collected as well as read captured data. FoodFactsAPI allows access to nutrition information, ingredients, allergens, warnings, report card, as well as the FoodFacts health score of food items. The MindAcuity aviApi offers developers an audio, video and image manipulation and processing API. Features include segment video and audio, create video poster or thumbnail, resize video, and rotate video extraction capabilities plus cropping, resizing images. Bttn is a hand-size physical button powered by AA batteries that can be programmed to perform certain tasks. Use the Bttn REST API to program a "press" to trigger Web events, initiate purchases, augment work environments, and more. The Bttn API is listed under the Internet of Things category. Bol.com is a retailer based in Netherlands of DVDs, games, music, computers, books, and more. Bol.com Plaza API provides tools for sellers like view open orders, process returns, note delivery times and price changes, and more. This API is listed under the eCommerce category. ProximiAPI can exact a location of app users within indoor locations by combining positioning technologies like WiFi triangulation, WiFi fingerprinting, beacons, BlueTooth, sensors, magnetic fields, and more. MapFruitionTravel Time API provides developers with the ability to generate service area polygons based on mode of travel (drive, bike, or walk) and time/distance. Data coverage includes the Contiguous US, Alaska, and Hawaii. This API is also listed under the Location category.

3DPrintler is a service that allows users to compare 3D printing prices in 254 materials. 3DPrintler API allows developers to get a list of material types, color, and type details as well as query printing prices. Valossa allows voice enabled search through natural language processing. Valossa API, powered by Val.ai, allows for video & film search and discovery. Miradore is a cloud-based mobile device management (MDM) solution. Miradore Online API is a REST based API for integrating Miradore Online with external information systems. xamoom is a location focused content management service. xamoom Consumer API is their core API for all end-user applications. xamoom Integration API can be used to integrate content, managed in xamoom, into other CMS, sites, or apps.
