US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) recently announced an API that will help Veterans gain better access to their private health data. The Veterans Affairs Health API enables a user or an application to query records kept in the Veteran health database. Users can retrieve data such as patient condition, allergy intolerance, treatments, diagnostic reports and more. This service is an EHR-agnostic RESTful web service that is compliant with the FHIR Argonaut Data Query Implementation Guide. This API is listed under the Health category. Mirrorfly is a real time chat and messaging solution. The Mirrorfly API allows developers to integrate chat, video, and voice functionality into their mobile and web applications. This service is customizable, comes with built-in WebRTC, and can be used for enterprise communication, in-app messaging, broadcasting, streaming, customer support, team chat, social chat, and personal chat. Catbox is an online file sharing and torrent service. The Catbox API returns upload data for files and URLs. Paycore.io provides payment infrastructure software. The PayCore Public API integrates payment providers from around the world into one hub. API users can offer different payment options such as credit cards, e-wallets, and bank transfers to customers. Notificare provides mobile marketing automation services. The Notificare Live API utilizes webhooks to integrate real-time functionalities such as Geo-triggers and notifications with third party applications. Additionally, the API supports product recommendations as provided by Amazon. This service is comparable to the Amazon Product Advertising API, but presented in a more condensed manner. CloudPublish is an eBook publishing and delivery service. The CloudPublish REST API is used to build book listings and complex eCommerce book stores.
